My journey in coffee began 33 years ago, at the age of 17, working on my uncle’s coffee farms and in his trading business in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Over the years, I worked across logistics, commercial management, and international trading. I co-founded and led, for over 20 years, companies within a group that was born in Brazil and became one of the most relevant players in the coffee trading sector. From scratch, the business grew into a global operation, reaching annual revenues of USD 700 million and serving everyone from small roasters to market leaders.
